Gen 1:26-28:God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature so they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.” God created human beings; He created them godlike… (The Message)
God had a vision and then He took time to create the proper foundation that would enable each of His separate ideas and visions thrive…then He created! When He was done, He decided to make man and make him the “responsibility officer” overseeing His project. There is a vital lesson here. God picked (or made) a candidate that was “like Him”, understanding that a difference in vision and concept would ultimately destroy the course or divine plan. As you plan and set out your goals ask yourself, who is your “responsibility officer”. Who is overseeing your ideas and vision? Who are you partnering with? We need to involve someone with like mind to be responsibility partners with us. We MUST pick carefully. Jesus took His time to pick the twelve….so prayerfully partner with one or two people who will stand by your vision, caution you when you deviate, encourage you when you lose steam and applaud you when you do well. He/she should be wise (Proverbs 13:20- Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm) (Proverbs 18:24… One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.). This year will be a good one for us all, but we MUST build carefully especially in this month of beginnings. Amen

In Jesus Name my steps are ordered of God. I walk with the wise, I reject and renounce foolish companions today. Amen
