Biblical Guide to Attracting Your Spouse (3)

As we continue in our series of Biblical Guide to Attracting Your Spouse, we come to the third one - Package

The Oxford Dictionary says to package is to 'present (someone or something) in an attractive or advantageous way'.

After you have DISCOVERED and accepted Your SELF-IMAGE (who you are) - the next step is to package yourself well.

It is not just about your content; it is more about your container. People see you first before they hear you. Dress well, package yourself with excellence.

Put your best foot forward.

We all have our issues and weaknesses. The difference is that while some use their issues and weaknesses like a wrapping paper to wrap themselves up, thereby making them obvious to everyone, the wise ones wrap themselves up with their strengths, such that you get to know their strengths before you meet their weaknesses.

Men look at your package.

Someone may say, 'but God does not look on the outward appearance'. You are right. So if you want to marry God keep all your goodness within and your weaknesses without.

You have need to package yourself well because Human beings on the other hand look on the outward appearance.

1 Samuel 16:7
...People look at the outward appearance...

You are address the way you dress, therefore; dress for your future address.

Package yourself well.

Your spouse (to be) already has a job, he is not looking for another one.

These tips might help:
·         Young lady, stop being aggressive and easily offended in public.
Smile more often and be respectful.

·         Young man, drop the 'hustler' mindset. It tells ladies you are more interested in money than a wife.

·         Dress well and modestly. You need a spouse not a one night stand!

·         Don't volunteer for things in public that are not your strength area. Leave the choir if you can't sing VERY WELL and join the ushers!

Let your package be solid and your content be rock-solid.

Be your best,
