In taking this decision, you must first of all discover yourself. Do you know you? Before you begin to invite someone else to experience you, you need to know what it is you are. To do this, you need to answer such questions as...

What is your vision and purpose in life? You don't need a life partner if you have not first find your own life.

What are your values? You must be a man or woman of value. If you're not standing for something, you'll definitely fall for anything.

It is amazing how knowing the answer to these questions will make you focus your life in such a way that you start attracting the people that are going in the same direction.

Your vision and purpose defines your path in life. Whoever God has planned for you is on that path. He is waiting at a bus stop along that road into your purpose. Start moving in that direction.

Your values ensure you don't waste time with people you will not eventually marry. For instance if you value spirituality, don't waste your time with someone who doesn't. Even if you like each other now, it will grow cold fast. The person may not be as spiritual as you, but if he values it, if he likes it in you and is going for it, that can work.
